In connection with a US tour that kicks off on March 1st in Philadelphia, Atomic are set to release their new CD "Theater Tilters Vol. 1". After Philadelphia the group will continue to Washington DC, Baltimore, Buffalo, Chicago and Milwaukee.

Quick, heads up: directly following the end of the Atomic tour I will be doing a three date-US tour with the group Free Fall, also in connection with the bands new CD release "Gray Scale". The Trio will play in Milwaukee, Chicago and Austin.

The Dave Rempis Percussion Quartet Tour is coming up next week. We are going to play gigs in Chicago and Milwaulkee in connection with the recording of a new CD. On friday, jan 29th, Im also doing a duo-electric-bass gig with Nate McBride and later sitting in with the band Rabid Rabbit (http://www.myspace.com/rabidrabbitlives). Chicago Chicago!!

I will on wedensday, january 13th have my Texas debut, since my relocating over here in August. Im happy to be participating in the "No Idea Festival 2010" and really excited to be playing with Remi Alvarez (http://www.remialvarez.com/) from Mexico City both as a duo and in a trio with Dallas drummer Stefan Gonzalez. The whole thing starts off in San Antonio on wednesday, january 13th, followed up by Houston on the 14th and ending in my new hometown Austin on saturday 15th. Frode Gjerstad's Circulasione Totale Orchestra just released the triple box "bandwidth" on the "Rune Grammofon" label. The full band, including Louis Moholo-Moholo, Bobby Bradford and Sabir Mateen, will perform in Philadelphia and Houston in late January.
